Arnold Bradley Sargent Davy & Chew, Inc. was established in 1972 by five female brokers who had worked together for a number of years at J.F. Begg, Inc., a large well established real estate company in Washington (now Begg/Long & Foster). The firm, now twelve in number, has remained small by choice, our objective being to specialize in residential sales in those areas of Washington, and close-in Maryland in which we have expertise.

We have all been active in civic, church and social arenas and, as a result, our business comes to us primarily via personal referral. We have established and maintained a reputation for the marketing of fine properties, emphasizing close personal attention to each listing, creative advertising and assistance to buyers with financing and settlement resources. We are fortunate in being on a preferred list of real estate firms called in by several local law firms and banks to participate in the sale of their estate properties. We are, of course, active members of MRIS, the state-of-the-art real estate system encompassing a four state area. While a small group, we keep up with the larger offices on a per capita basis.

We advertise regularly in the Sunday Washington Post, and in the Legal Times, Washingtonian Magazine and Washington Life, as the particular listing requires. Our most useful tool is the Internet, which reaches prospective purchasers everywhere. HomeVisit Productions, Inc. produces handsome brochures for us and creates an extensive pictorial tour of our listings, adding important dimension to the computer material.

Every listing is different, and every listing is important to us. We aspire, therefore, to avoid the formula approach in favor of a creative response to each project we undertake.
